Giving Back

At VTS Lawyers, we are grateful for the opportunities that have been available to us. We are committed to giving back to our community through charity and mentorship programs.

Fred Hollows Foundation

logo

Founded in 1992 by eye surgeon the late Fred Hollows, the Fred Hollows Foundation treats and prevents blindness and other vision problems to the poor communities within Australia, Africa, and South East Asia.

We are proud supporters of the Fred Hollows Foundation because we strongly believe that a person’s lack of financial or medical resources should not influence their ability to see.

Many people take sight for granted, but when it’s impaired or taken away from us, we can lose the ability to work and enjoy so much that the world and its people have to offer.

Mentorship Programs

word cloud - mentorship

VTS Lawyers is committed to helping University students transition to the working world by offering four-week mentorship programs during which they can experience what it’s like to work in a law firm.

Our mentorship programs give students the opportunity to attend business meetings, teleconferences, internal meetings, and external meetings and Court attendances, where they can experience real work scenarios that can prepare them for when they enter the working world.

Students return to University with a practical insight on how a law firm and the business world operates, a better appreciation for the work/life balance, and a greater understanding of the importance of honesty, integrity, good business ethics, and professionalism.
